Is there a cost to volunteer at Elma School Cambodia (EFCC)?

Yes. Volunteer Donation Payments are listed on the Volunteer Application Form.

How do I apply to become a EFCC volunteer?

You must submit our on-line Volunteer Application Form. Please read all FAQs prior to submitting an application.

Is EFCC open throughout the year?

Elma School Cambodia  is open weekdays, and closed weekends and Cambodian Public Holidays.

How long can I volunteer at EFCC?

Volunteer placements are generally restricted to a maximum of one month. However, if you wish to volunteer for more than one month please let us know and your request will be forwarded to our Senior Management Team for their consideration.

Does EFCC have a Child Protection Policy?

Does EFCC have a Code of Conduct?

Yes. It is displayed on our Web site under the Volunteer tab. See Volunteer Code of Conduct.

Do I require a Police Check to volunteer at EFCC?

Yes.

What vaccinations do I require to visit Cambodia?

For any vaccination requirements you should consult your medical practitioner.

Do I need Travel Insurance?

Yes.

Do I require a Visa to enter Cambodia?

Yes.

What happens once I have submitted my Volunteer Application form?

EFCC will advise you whether your application has been accepted or not.

If accepted we will e-mail you a copy of our Volunteer Handbook and you will be asked to:

  • confirm your arrival and departure dates.
  • forward your Volunteer donation payment 4 weeks prior to your arrival.
  • e-mail a copy of your Police Check.

If due to the dates you have provided we can’t accept your application we will suggest alternative dates which you may wish to consider.
